I watched about 10 minutes the other night because it was on TV. I was amused and upset. This movie is innacurate to the point of being harmful. Even the "weatherunderground" nails it. The whole premise of global warming leading to an instand Ice Age is impossible.
Even the simple plot is full of falsities. I've been through tidal surge, the idea that a person can see a wall of water coming and outrun it is silly. The idea that people can survive a 100 foot tidal surge in a 3 story building is dangerously false.
Global change is a very complex topic. Movies and politicians that act like we have just a few years to do anything are making short term "hay" and long term "havoc".
